The Punks are here hangin while Dave, AKA Jekyl, lays down some boomin bass tracks for the upcoming Pig Sick. Ninja and the Rev showed up here around 1 already hittin the PBR and ready to put their party pants on. Joining them today is the legendary Unknown Honky Punk. If you’re not familiar with that story, head on over to the Honky Punks Facebook and ask Rev all about it.

So far we have 4 songs down, 3 more to go, and then the recording for this baby will officially. be. done. It’s been a long time coming, but we’re thinkin that the end results are gonna be well worth the wait. The mixing has already begun on the finished songs, and there’s a whole slew of guest goodies being thrown into the pot. Shite’s gettin interesting kiddies! In other info and update type stuff, the Crossbones, Inc. new Gas Money? EP is in the final stages and almost ready to be released. CBI is gearing up for a supporting tour in January, including a stop at the legendary Reggie’s Rock Club in Chicago on Jan. 29th. So excited about that one! Chicago is the home town of Dave Hyde and yours truly, and we’re both really hopin that we can make it up there to support our boys, and see some old friends while we’re at it. With work, kids, and the label it might be a hard thing to accomplish, but we’re keepin our fingers crossed! If you’re gonna be in the area that night you should do everything you can to be there, good times are guaranteed!

It was a busy day full of recording, sprinkled with shenanigans, and chocked full of hilarity! Now we can proudly say that their upcoming EP is *thisclose* to being completely recorded. (If you could see how close my fingers are when I say *thisclose*, you’d know that it’s so very very close.) Things are coming together and sounding spectacular! It shouldn’t be too much longer ’til you kiddies get to treat your ears. In the meantime, I’ve got some photo-rific goodness to treat your eyes!

The recording session kicked off with John laying down some bass. And Dave eating Flaming Hot Cheetos.

Feelin peaceful now that his work’s done.

Travisty’s really excited about that Gatorade. I think he needs an endorsement for this one.

Jack Knife and his guitar were up next. Ya think that lip helps? (I love the faces people make when they’re really concentrating. Come on, we all do it!)

Along with working with a couple of new bands and projects, we’ve also been working with an old one, The Unstables. Hayden was in the studio today recording some guitar, Uber Terry was here with him hangin out.

Apparently those boys had a good time last night. Uber T kicked the day off by trying to fill a glass with water while the glass was upside down. Hayden was SUPER hungover, he stepped outside between almost every song. I’m not gonna be walking around the yard any time soon. (Dave supposedly got some good vomit video that I think I’ll be skippin.) Hayden worked through it all, the little trooper!

They got done what they needed to get done, and he recovered just as things were finishing up….and just in time to go do some more drinkin. We’ve now got 8 brand new songs with everything but vocals. Fun day! Now it’s time to listen to some Sabres/Rangers hockey (go Sabres!) and work on tomorrows Question Of The Day! Yay! Good night interneters!
